This Egyptian jazz funk hidden treasure from Magdy El Hossainy called ‘Music De Carnaval’ was officially repressed by Pépite records in France on 7″ and Discotheque Fantastique have reworked it to perfection. There’s so much to like in here with little flourishes of percussion everywhere and an overall groove that dissolves time itself.
